Ginger Healy, MSW, LCSW.- *Available May 1 – June 30, 2025* Join us for this 4 hour on demand course as Ginger Healy, MSW, LCSW defines trauma and how it intersects with neurodivergent children and discusses how to implement connection strategies for neurodiverse students.
This course aims to define trauma and how it intersects with neurodivergent children. This course further seeks to nurture neurodiversity through a trauma–sensitive lens. This course will highlight the importance of regulation and co-regulation to soothe and heal the nervous system using a safe, caring committed adult to build resilience in neurodivergent youth.
Presenter will use lecture, case studies, etc. throughout the duration of the course (some video examples may be used).
Who should attend?
Special Education teachers, Speech-Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Counselors, General Education teachers, Administrators, Psychologists, Social Workers, PTs, Principals, Nurses, Parents, Caregivers and anyone who works with neurodivergent learners. This course is open to anyone interested in attending. No prerequisites are required.

Ginger Healy MSW , LCSW receives an annual salary for her job at the Attachment & Trauma Network. She also receives payment from National Center for Youth Issues for book royalties for books she has written and speaking engagements they have booked for her.
